Regarding the revision of the cadre and recruitment rules of Tahsildar Grade-1 and Grade-2 cadres.

The Cadre Strength of Tahshildar Gr-1 and Tahsildar Gr-2 have been fixed Vide Government Notification NoE-RD 281 ASD 2023 Dated 08.05.2025 in Revenue Department and published in the Karnataka Gazette Date: 09.09.2025. As such in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause 3 of the Karnataka Public Employment (Reservation in Appointment for Hyderabad-Kamataka Region) Order, 2013, issued under Article 371(1) of the Constitution of India, and with a view to constitute the Local Cadres in respect of the posts of Tahsildar Grade-2 (Group-B) and Tahsildar Grade-1 (Group-A) in the Revenue Department, the Government of Karnataka hereby notifies as follows
Out of the sanctioned cadre strength for the Kalyana Karnataka Hyderabad-Kamataka Region, seventy-five per cent (75%) of the posts shall be designated as the Regional Local Cadre. Out of the sanctioned cadre strength of the offices classified as State Level Offices and of the posts sanctioned in the SBMP limit, eight per cent (9%) of the posts shall be designated as the State Level Local Cadre, reserved for persons belonging to the Kalyana Karnataka -Hyderabad-Karnataka Region. Further, in accordance with the provisions of the Kamataka Public Employment (Reservation in Appointment for Hyderabad-Kamataka Region) (Constitution of Local Cadres, Distribution and Transfer of Persons) Rules 2013 of the chapter (iv) rule (6), the Regional Local Cadre and the State Level Local Cadre shall be consolidated so constitute the State-wide Local Cadre The details of the sanctioned cadre strength, together with the distribution of posts as aforesaid, are specified in the Schedule appended here to
